Welcome to Our Board of Trustees, Danae Dudley-Hammatt

We are thrilled to welcome Danae Dudley - Hammatt to our Board of Trustees.

Danae is a senior healthcare executive with over 15 years' experience scaling health organisations across the UK, US, and beyond. Spanning the NHS, private healthcare, insurance, and HealthTech, her career has always been driven by the same purpose: making a meaningful, positive difference to people's lives by improving their healthcare outcomes. 
 
Danae is currently Managing Director of the Functional Gut Group (FGG), the UK's leading independent provider of specialist gastrointestinal diagnostics, delivering more than 12,000 patient tests a year across the NHS and private sector for conditions such as IBS, which affects one in five people in the UK. Following a £5.75m growth investment from Foresight Group, Danae is leading FGG through its next phase of expansion by growing its clinic network across Manchester, Cambridge, London and beyond, strengthening the operational and commercial infrastructure behind the business, and supporting the launch of new patient-centred services.  
 
Previously, as Chief Operating Officer of Careology, Danae led the development of one of the UK's first community-based cancer care navigation services through a landmark partnership with Boots UK, and secured international contracts with Mayo Clinic and Evolent in the United States. She previously led Vitality's UK Cancer Strategy, covering 1.9 million members. 
 
Outside of her executive career, Danae serves as a Trustee of the Ella Dawson Foundation, supporting strategic growth, operational excellence, and fundraising to ensure every young person facing cancer can access the holistic wellbeing support they need.
