Adam Arrives in Recife After Completing Leg 4 of the Mini Globe Race

With just 2,500 nautical miles to go, Adam’s safe arrival in Recife brings him one step closer to completing his solo circumnavigation and Mini Globe Race

After nearly two weeks at sea and covering approximately 1,800 nautical miles, UK sailor Adam has safely arrived into the port of Recife, Brazil, marking the end of Leg 4 of the Mini Globe Race aboard his self‑built 19‑foot yacht, Little Wren.

Adam completed the crossing in less than 14.5 days, navigating life at sea as he continues his extraordinary circumnavigation attempt - a 28,000 nm solo race around the world. With this latest milestone reached, only 2,500 nautical miles remain before he completes the final stretch of this remarkable global challenge.

For more than 12 months, Adam has lived at sea, facing extreme weather, isolation, and the demands of single‑handed ocean racing. His endeavour is not only a personal challenge but also a powerful fundraising mission to support young adults living with and beyond cancer through the Ella Dawson Foundation.

Adam’s resilience, determination, and unwavering commitment to this cause have inspired supporters across the UK and beyond.

As he prepares for the final leg of his voyage, the Ella Dawson Foundation is calling on supporters to help Adam finish strong.
